Bridal Fair a Success

Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 the International Storytelling Center (ISC) along with the Town of Jonesborough presented The Historic Jonesborough Bridal Fair. ISC hosted 14 vendors and the Visitors Center 18, along with a display of merchant giveaways for the day and a fashion show. Both venues also included live music. The fair was a great success with around 115 in attendance including brides, grooms, bridal parties, and parents.
Amber Crumley, Director of Tourism and Marketing for the Town of Jonesborough, was pleased with the turn out for this year’s event, “I feel like the fair was a success for several reasons. I feel that the town of Jonesborough lends itself as a “Storybook Wedding” destination. I hear everywhere “Jonesborough is the perfect wedding destination, no matter the season.” I feel like we had a nice array of vendors that provided all attendees with valuable, quality information and products. Great advertising and promotion led to a great attendance for the show.”
